Analog
it´s all Film here!

The old church
This shot was taken in Kloster Eberbach in Germany. I decided to go with classic film for that shot, because in my opinion the old building demanded that reduced and simple look. What do you think? Do you think, that the look works for it?

The Chapel Window
Taken in one of the side chapels of the main church in Kloster Eberbach. This is place they shot the movie "In the Name of the Rose".
Shot with a middle format camera on analogue film.

Monastary Church
This shot is taken down the whole center aisle of the church of Kloster Eberbach (Monastery Eberbach) in the Rheingau. I do love this simplistic and unadorned look of this holy house. It has its looks just from the reduced style of building that it is.

Graveyard Sun
The sun was still high in the sky there. I nearly refrained from taking the shot. But it would have been quite a shame if I did. I do love the look here. It is so intense and captivating I think...

Lost in Time
The shed of the steam engines in the Kranichstein steam engine museum ist like a time capsule. And with the light falling in through the rear windows it had a very special look..

The Smithy
Also looking abandoned this smithy is still used for doing all the repair work on the engines in the Train Museum in Kranichstein. I love going back there, The black-and-white film works great here to give the perfect look to the place.

Shot on an old large format field camera in the kitchen at Burg Ronneburg. I have really fallen in love with the old film cameras and what you can do with them. I think it is quite extraordinary.

While walking through the castle I found this window where they places a few mugs. With the light shining through the window they were shown in the best possible light. Or what do you think about it ?

I do love the moment when the light shone onto the wall of the kitchen and created this very graphical look. And I do believe that it is great to be shooting film. This one was taken on Kodaks TriX film.

Donegal Castle
Inside the Castle in Donegal Town you get this great look of the high table with the window in the background. I loved it at first sight!

Going into infinity?
Taken on the street running along the river Neckar I saw this line of trees. Together with the wall on the left hand side I think it makes for a great shot

Fields of Gold
The Irish have a phantastic song about the "Fields of Gold" - fields covered in barley and getting ripe.
This picture was not taken in Ireland so. But it is all handmade... old Hasselblad and analogue film.

The Irish lake
Shot on a quiet irish lake in Co. Mayo. I love the look of the classic TriX 400 film from Kodak again here.
