The temple of Beng Mealea for me is one of the more fascinating ones to visit. Sadly overrun by chinese most of the times which kills of some of its amazing calmness and beauty...

Angkor Wat is probably one of the most crowded places to visit in the world. And yet you do find those quiet corners there that people still use as places of worship every day. And one of those is this statue of the God Vishnu. I found it quite inspiring

Those figures - called Apsara´s - are all over the angkorian temples in the Angkor Wat area. You will find them almost everywhere. They were the dancers for the gods. And for me even after all that time they seem to speak of grace.

In many of the temples in the Angkor Archeological Park you find small shrines that people do still use as places of worship. I found those most impressive and the simple devotion of the people touched my heart.
